Text Message Consent and Opt Out Terms
Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. · Effective October 2, 2026
These terms explain optional Northdale text messages, separate service and marketing consent, and how recipients can stop messages. The internal appendix includes specific website checkbox language and operating requirements.
Program and sender
Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. may send SMS or MMS messages to a mobile number whose subscriber or customary user has given the required permission. These terms apply to messages sent by or on behalf of Northdale. They do not authorize an insurer, finance company or unrelated business to send its own marketing messages.
Messages are sent from the number or sender identifier shown on the message. Support is available at services@northdaleinsurance.com and (559) 777-7657. The office telephone number is not represented as an SMS-enabled number unless separately confirmed.
Service messages
If you choose service texts, messages may concern your specific quote inquiry, requested documents, appointments, certificate or change requests, policy or renewal matters, payment reminders, claim reporting support and account notices. Messages may be sent by staff or through automated messaging systems. We do not use consent to a service program as automatic consent to marketing texts.
Choosing Text message as a preferred contact method helps us understand your preference. Where a separate affirmative consent is required, we will collect that consent before sending the affected messages. Providing a number in an application, business directory, email signature or uploaded list does not by itself enroll you in every messaging program.
Optional marketing messages
Marketing texts can include insurance product information, offers, invitations to request a quote or other promotional content. Before sending automated marketing texts where required, we obtain your express written consent identifying Northdale and the number to be contacted. The consent may be signed electronically through an appropriate affirmative process.
Consent to marketing texts is optional. It is not a condition of purchasing insurance or any other property, goods or services, receiving a quote or obtaining assistance. You may choose other contact methods. A service message will not contain a promotional addition that changes its purpose without the appropriate marketing consent.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with your requests and account activity. Marketing message frequency varies. Northdale does not charge a separate fee for text messages. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Check with your wireless provider about charges, supported devices and message limits.
How to stop text messages
Reply STOP to a message to opt out. We also recognize clear requests such as QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and other words that reasonably communicate a desire to stop. You may also contact our office by phone or email, identify the mobile number and clearly ask us to stop texting it. We do not require use of only one opt-out method.
We act on opt-out requests promptly. Where the federal consent-revocation rules apply, we will honor the request within the required reasonable period and no later than 10 business days, or sooner if another applicable requirement demands it. Our operating goal is immediate automated suppression for standard reply keywords.
Under this program, an unqualified request to stop texts is applied across Northdale automated service and marketing text programs for that number unless you clearly request a narrower choice. You may receive one nonmarketing confirmation. We will not require an explanation, charge an opt-out fee or require an account login. Replying HELP does not restart messages.
Stopping texts does not cancel a policy, withdraw a submitted insurance request, change a premium obligation or reverse a transaction. We may contact you through another permitted channel when necessary for service or legally required communications. If you ask to stop calls or other communications too, we will apply the request according to its scope and applicable law.
Help and alternative contact
Reply HELP for assistance, email services@northdaleinsurance.com or call (559) 777-7657. If a particular messaging channel does not accept replies, each message will explain that limitation and provide another reasonable way to stop messages. We will help arrange a suitable contact method if texting is not accessible or appropriate for you.
Your mobile number and renewed consent
You must be the subscriber or customary user of the number or otherwise have authority to give the consent. Tell us if the number changes or you stop using it so that messages are not sent to a new user. If you previously opted out, we require an affirmative new opt-in appropriate to the program before restarting messages. Updating a quote form, paying a bill or requesting a certificate does not automatically restore marketing consent.
Insurance and delivery limitations
Texts can be delayed, misdirected or not delivered because of network, device or carrier conditions. Northdale and wireless carriers do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery. These terms do not excuse any legal responsibility that cannot be waived.
Text reminders are a convenience and do not replace required policy, billing, cancellation or claims procedures. A message acknowledgement or conversation does not itself bind, change or reinstate coverage. A requested transaction requires action and confirmation from the insurer or a representative with the relevant authority. Check the policy, formal notice or confirmed transaction terms. A payment text does not confirm that a finance company received or credited a payment.
For emergencies, call 911. Report urgent claims using the insurer's claims instructions, including after-hours channels, and notify our office. Do not rely solely on a text or general website form for time-sensitive claim reporting.
Privacy and sensitive information
We use your number, message content, delivery information and consent or opt-out records to provide and manage the program, document instructions and meet legal obligations. Providers supporting messaging may process this information for us. Our Privacy Policy explains related information practices.
Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information and consent records are not sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Service providers may receive them only to support our program under appropriate restrictions, or when legally required. Do not text passwords, full Social Security numbers, full card or bank details or medical records. Ask for an approved channel if sensitive documents are needed.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and show the revised effective date. We obtain new consent when required for a materially different program or use. A change to these terms does not automatically restore a withdrawn consent.
