Cookie and Tracking Notice

Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. · Effective October 2, 2026

This notice explains website cookies, storage, technical logs and tracking controls on the Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. website.

Scope

This notice applies to Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. website pages that link to it. It supplements the Privacy Policy and State Privacy Rights Notice. It describes technologies used to operate the website and, where enabled, optional features, analytics and advertising. Information submitted in an insurance inquiry is also subject to the relevant privacy notices.

What these technologies do

Cookies are small files a website may place in a browser. Local storage and similar technologies can remember settings on a device. Pixels, tags and embedded content can transmit information when a page loads or a visitor interacts with it. Server logs record requests and technical information without necessarily using a cookie. A website can process an IP address or send data to a provider even when a cookie banner is not displayed.

Some items last only during a browsing session. Others remain for a stated period or until deleted. A provider can process an IP address, device or browser information, time, page or referrer, interaction event or identifier. The actual information, recipient and duration depend on the tool and configuration identified below.

Current website configuration

Current optional analytics and advertising status: none. Our pages do not use analytics, advertising or retargeting tools.

Current cookie and browser storage status: our own pages do not set cookies or store information in your browser, based on our review as of the effective date.

This website is hosted on Netlify. Our Privacy Policy identifies Formspree as the service used to process form submissions and notify our office. The website links to a separate ePayPolicy payment page and to external map directions. A link to an external site is different from embedding that site's tracking code on our pages, and we do not embed it.

Necessary and optional purposes

Necessary technologies, if present, support functions such as delivering pages, protecting forms, maintaining a requested session and remembering a privacy choice. We do not label advertising or convenience analytics as necessary merely because they are useful to us.

Optional analytics, if enabled, help measure site use and improve pages. Optional preference tools can remember choices that are not essential to the request. Advertising or retargeting tools, if enabled, may measure campaigns or use activity across sites to select ads. These activities are disclosed and configured under the applicable notice, consent and opt-out requirements.

Choices and consent controls

Available website privacy controls: none are needed today because we do not use optional tracking technologies. If we add any, we will add a cookie settings link and keep the technology off until any required consent is received. You may accept or refuse optional categories, where offered, without being forced to agree to marketing. You may revisit the settings through the website link. Refusing optional tracking does not itself prevent you from requesting an insurance quote or service.

If the law requires consent before a technology operates, it remains disabled until the appropriate consent is received. If the law provides an opt-out, we give effect to it within the required scope and period. We do not treat closing a banner, scrolling or a preselected box as affirmative consent where affirmative consent is required. Withdrawing a choice generally affects later processing and does not automatically undo a lawful earlier transaction.

Your browser can allow you to block or delete cookies and site storage. Doing so can remove saved settings, including a previously stored privacy preference, and may affect features that need necessary storage. Browser controls do not necessarily stop server-side processing or every tracking technology. Use the website controls and contact us where needed.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Where applicable law requires it, a qualifying opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control is treated as an opt-out of covered sale or sharing. Because our pages do not sell or share personal information or use tracking tools, a preference signal does not change how the site works today. If that changes, we will honor legally recognized signals as required. We will not require a consumer to disable a recognized signal to use basic services or impose an unnecessary login to honor it.

Legacy browser Do Not Track handling: because our pages do not track visitors across other websites, the setting does not change how the site works. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are different mechanisms. A disclosure that the site does not respond to legacy Do Not Track must not be used to disregard a legally recognized opt-out preference signal.

Advertising sale and sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If information is sold or shared as those terms are defined by applicable law, the affected categories, recipients and opt-out methods are described in the State Privacy Rights Notice. A tracking transfer can fall within these definitions even when Northdale receives no monetary payment.

Insurance application data, policy numbers, driver details, claim information, payment information and form message contents should not be sent to advertising tags or session replay tools without a separately reviewed lawful basis and appropriate safeguards. We do not use SMS consent data for another company's independent marketing.

External payments and links

Selecting Pay Your Bill takes you to the payment service at northdaleinsurance.epaypolicy.com. That service may use its own cookies and processing under its own notices. Selecting external map or carrier links takes you to their services. Northdale cookie choices may not control a separately operated website after you leave our site. Review its settings and notices before using it.

Retention and changes

The inventory states each relevant storage duration and technical retention period or the criteria used to determine it. We review the inventory when tools or settings change and update this notice before a materially different use when required. Technical data may be retained longer when needed for security investigations, legal obligations or an applicable hold, subject to law and our retention practices.
