Electronic Delivery and Signature Information

Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. · Effective October 2, 2026

This page explains the option to receive eligible Northdale records electronically and to sign records electronically. Electronic delivery is optional, and you can choose paper at any time.

Your choice

Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc. offers electronic delivery and electronic signing for eligible records. You may choose paper delivery and a nonelectronic signing method where available or required by law. Consent is voluntary. You may withdraw electronic-delivery consent as described below. Consent to electronic delivery is separate from consent to marketing texts, marketing emails or optional website tracking.

Please read and keep this page before you make your choice. Do not agree unless you can access and retain the electronic record formats described here. Contact us if you need assistance, an accessible format or paper documents.

Who and what this consent covers

This consent applies to records Northdale sends or makes available to you in connection with the transaction or relationship for which you choose electronic delivery. It applies to you as the person giving consent and, where you have authority, the entity you identify below. It does not constitute consent for every driver, insured, beneficiary, household member or other recipient.

Eligible categories may include quote proposals, applications, coverage selections, acknowledgements, insurance privacy notices, certificates, policy and endorsement documents, renewal information, invoices, receipts and ordinary service communications that Northdale is authorized to deliver electronically. We will identify the categories covered when you choose electronic delivery.

An insurer, finance company or another provider may require its own consent and delivery process. This Northdale consent covers that provider only if the consent specifically identifies the provider and Northdale is authorized to collect it on the provider's behalf. It does not authorize recurring payments, change a policy, appoint an agent of record or approve an insurance application by itself.

Records requiring a special process

We will not use this consent to electronically deliver a record when that delivery is prohibited or when a special legal requirement has not been met. Cancellation, nonrenewal, lapse, termination and other important notices may require additional consent language, proof of actual receipt or a specified delivery method. Merely posting a notice or sending an email is not always sufficient.

The federal E SIGN Act contains exceptions, including certain health and life insurance cancellation or termination notices. State law may establish a separate permitted process. We will follow the rule applicable to the specific record and transaction and use paper or another required method when necessary. This consent does not waive a notice period, proof-of-delivery requirement or substantive consumer protection.

How records may be delivered

Delivery may be by email attachment or a secure link, and where a signing platform or insurer portal is used we will identify it before you agree. We may send a record as an attachment or notify your designated email address that a record is available through the identified secure service. A notice of availability will describe the record and how to access it. We provide a way to download, save or print eligible records.

Some records require an acknowledgement of actual receipt. We may ask you to open the record and acknowledge it through the approved process. An automated transmission log is not necessarily proof that you received a record when the law requires more. We will handle failed delivery, expired links and undeliverable notices under the applicable legal procedure.

Equipment and software you need

You need an internet-connected computer, tablet or phone; an active email address you can access; a supported browser; software that can open and save PDF and HTML records; and enough storage to retain the records or a printer if you prefer printed copies. If the chosen service requires an account, verification step or additional software, those requirements will be disclosed before you consent.

Supported browsers: a current version of a mainstream web browser.

Records are generally provided as PDF or web pages. If a service needs an account or a verification step, we will tell you before you agree.

You are responsible for your own ordinary internet, device, printing and data charges. If you cannot access or retain a record, tell us promptly so we can provide assistance or an alternative. Do not share account credentials or signature links with someone who is not authorized to use them.

Paper copies and fees

You may request paper copies by emailing services@northdaleinsurance.com, calling (559) 777-7657 or writing to our address below. Identify the document and delivery address without sending unnecessary sensitive information. Any fee will be limited to what the law permits and will be disclosed before you agree. No fee will be charged when law requires a free copy.

For California records subject to Insurance Code section 38.6, you may request the free printed copy that the law requires each year. Declining electronic delivery will not result in a prohibited charge, discount penalty or incentive restriction. Any other charge must be lawful and disclosed before you consent; no undisclosed withdrawal fee applies.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent for future electronic delivery by emailing services@northdaleinsurance.com, calling (559) 777-7657 or sending a written request to Northdale Insurance Agency, Inc., 4630 W Jennifer Ave, Suite 103A, Fresno, CA 93722. State that you want to withdraw electronic-delivery consent and identify the affected policy, transaction or records. We will verify the request as appropriate and implement it within a reasonable period and any shorter period required by law.

Withdrawal applies prospectively and does not invalidate a record or signature properly provided before the withdrawal takes effect. We will explain any pending delivery and arrange paper or another lawful method for future covered records. Withdrawal does not by itself cancel your policy or waive a payment or reporting obligation.

If you withdraw, Northdale services continue with paper or another lawful delivery method. A separately operated insurer or finance provider may require you to change its preferences through its own process. We will help identify the correct contact where needed and will not represent that changing our preference automatically changes theirs.

Updating your contact information

Keep your designated email and mailing address current. Notify us at the contacts above if either changes or if you lose access to the email account. We may verify a change through an existing trusted channel before sending sensitive documents. Your obligation to keep information current does not eliminate our legal duties when we learn that a delivery failed.

Electronic signatures

When you deliberately sign or select an identified electronic acceptance control for a particular record, you intend that act to serve as your signature for that record to the extent permitted by law. You will have an opportunity to review the record before signing and to retain a copy. We may use authentication and an audit trail to document the signing process.

Signing this consent authorizes the described electronic process only. It does not automatically sign every later application, endorsement request, coverage rejection, payment authorization or other document. Each later signature must reflect your intent and authority. We will not insert a signature on your behalf merely because you supplied a phone number or email address.

Privacy and assistance

We and the approved delivery or signature provider may process contact details, the signed document, timestamps, authentication and access events, and technical information reasonably needed to carry out and document the process. Our Privacy Policy and Insurance Customer Privacy Notice explain related practices. Contact us for an accessible process or if you suspect unauthorized use of a signature link.
